Job Description:
Our warehouse is a fast-paced environment. The ability to multitask is essential. This job includes but is not limited to serving warehouse customers, loading vehicles, assembling loads for deliveries, and receiving vendor trucks. Storing and organizing warehouse merchandise in overhead racks using a forklift and by hand is a continuous element of this position. Warehouse Associate will occasionally travel in company vehicles to assist driver. Daily duties involve working in all weather conditions, cleaning, sweeping, emptying the trash, cleaning and organizing yard, snow shoveling, etc. The Warehouse Associate will assist showroom employees and be willing to cheerfully help in other capacities as necessary. Driver training may be available for qualified candidates.
Desired Qualities:
This is a family owned and operated business. Candidate must be comfortable interacting in a positive manner with customers, fellow employees, and the management team. Must have a sense of humor and exhibit patience in daily interactions, which can present unforeseen challenges at times. Applicants must be willing to learn and be self-motivated.
Job Requirements:
- Must be reliable and hard-working.
- Must be able to comfortably lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must complete forklift training and demonstrate the ability to operate power equipment safely and efficiently.
- Must work at least one weekend day per week.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

- Must have some experience with animals (dogs, cats, “farm animals”)
- Must have some basic understanding of animal nutrition/welfare
- Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs (at least occasionally)
- Must consistently be on time/reliable
- Must be willing to work weekend hours
Skills Needed:
- Need to be friendly, helpful, and good with people
- Need to be able to complete sales transactions
- Need to work well with other people
