Struggling to manage water on your property, especially during heavy rain? Are you considering draining an area of your land that is perpetually wet? This hands-on workshop on streams and wetlands will teach you how water works in the landscape, how different management strategies affect flow upstream and downstream, and how the design of ditches and culverts changes their effectiveness. Agencies regulating streams and wetlands will also be available to answer questions on their rules. This free workshop is designed for farmers and others managing rural land but is open to all.
RSVPs to [email protected] or 528-4176 are appreciated.
